Product Description

LDR40K1 40 mJ 1064 nm Laser Rangefinder / Target Designator Module

The LDR40K1 is a tactical-grade 1064 nm laser rangefinder and target designator designed for integration on airborne gimbals, vehicle turrets, and naval EO/IR platforms. It delivers ≥ 40 mJ pulse energy and high pointing stability, enabling precision target marking for laser-guided munitions and long-range surveillance.

The device adopts a standard operating wavelength of 1064±3nm, with average pulse energy ≥40mJ, pulse width of 15ns±5ns and laser beam divergence angle ≤0.4mrad, featuring concentrated beam quality and excellent directivity. It boasts highly stable laser energy output, and the pulse energy fluctuation within a single irradiation cycle is no more than 10% of the average energy. It can maintain stable laser output for a long time to meet the demands of continuous guidance operation.
It supports three ranging modes including single-shot, 1Hz and 5Hz with excellent ranging performance. The minimum ranging distance is ≤100m and the maximum ranging distance reaches 6000m under standard atmospheric conditions. The ranging error is within 2m (1σ) and the ranging accuracy rate is no less than 98%. Built-in overtime protection enables continuous ranging for 5 minutes at 1Hz and 1 minute at 5Hz before automatic shutdown, ensuring laser service life and equipment stability.

It supports standard long and short cycle irradiation modes. For short-cycle irradiation, single irradiation lasts no less than 18 seconds with 8 consecutive cycles and interval within 10 seconds. For long-cycle irradiation, single irradiation lasts no less than 47 seconds with 2 consecutive cycles and restart interval within 30 seconds. It can be restarted within 30 minutes after completing one set of long and short cycle irradiation, perfectly adapting to high-intensity and batch continuous irradiation tasks.

In terms of electrical performance, it adopts DC 20V~28V wide-voltage DC power supply with average power consumption ≤50W and peak power consumption ≤140W, which is well suitable for power supply conditions of airborne, vehicle-mounted and portable systems. Built-in reverse power polarity protection circuit ensures complete electrical protection. It can automatically count laser pulse emission times in real time to facilitate equipment maintenance, life assessment and status management.

Adopting miniaturized and lightweight structural design, its overall dimension is ≤114mm×61mm×57mm and total weight is ≤460g. Featuring compact structure and easy installation, it is applicable to small gimbals, stabilized platforms, vehicle turrets and various lightweight mounting systems.

Equipped with a diode-pumped laser head, the module provides reliable performance across a wide operating temperature range from −40 °C to +60 °C. The RS-422 digital interface allows full control over ranging and designation modes, including pulse frequency coding and status reporting. With its ruggedized mechanical design and sub-800 g weight, the LDR40K1 is the ideal choice for demanding defense and security applications where accuracy and SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) are critical.
